β Iam Dee
Social Media Manager & Brand/Content Strategist with 3+ years building brand systems that think before they post β research-led content, community, and campaigns engineered around real audience behaviour. Fintech, fashion, food, bridal, and legal tech.
I am a Social Media Manager and Brand/Content Strategist with over 3 years of experience building brand presence, content systems, and engaged communities from the ground up. My work sits upstream of posting β it starts with research: who the audience actually is, what the competitive landscape looks like, and what content pillars will earn trust before they earn a sale. Then I build the systems β brand voice, content calendars, community management, and paid media β that carry that thinking into daily execution.
I have developed distinct brand identities and content strategies across fintech & Web3, fashion, food and lifestyle, bridal styling, health education, and legal technology β often managing several entirely different brand voices at the same time. Across TikTok, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Telegram, I combine creative direction with research and analytics β using real audience data and competitive intelligence to build content that converts, not just content that posts.
My story started almost as a hobby. I was asked to help because I was available and, honestly, because I am chronically online. I'd always noticed the gaps β brands that could be positioned better, messaging that could hit harder, research that was missing before the posting even began. It started with helping my brother get his brand on Instagram, and something clicked. What started as a favour became a career built on understanding brands before building for them.
I am also a Computer Science and Software Engineering graduate β which makes me a different kind of strategist, equally comfortable in a competitive analysis spreadsheet as I am in TikTok Studio. Away from screens, I read fiction obsessively, listen to music every single day without exception, travel whenever I can, and consider the beach my safest place in the world.
From Web3 fintech to luxury bakeries, fashion to legal tech β I've built brand presence, content systems, and communities from the ground up across diverse industries, tailoring the strategy to each brand's unique voice, audience, and goals.
Every case study below starts with the problem I was actually solving β not the post I made. Strategy first, execution second, numbers last. They're the proof, not the pitch.
SLAQ was launching a borderless African payments product into a market that is structurally wary of Web3 and crypto. The real question wasn't "how do we post" β it was "how do you earn trust for a blockchain product with zero social proof?" Starting point: 9 X followers, 3 Telegram members.
Built a brand voice that led with education, not product. Complex blockchain payment features were translated into sharp, accessible copy that built understanding before asking for belief. Community tagging drove organic discovery, while daily, responsive Telegram management converted curiosity into trust.
An engagement rate of 14.5% β nearly 10x the typical 1β3% benchmark for the space β shows this wasn't passive reach, it was an audience that actually cared. Trust was earned before it was asked for, and the numbers followed.
A Nigerian fashion brand needed a TikTok presence from zero β 175 followers, no content history, no proof of what this audience even responds to. The job wasn't "post consistently," it was figure out, through testing, exactly what a style-savvy Nigerian audience wants to see β before scaling spend or effort behind it.
Built a multi-pillar content system β trending audio, styling videos, GRWM, behind-the-scenes process content, and a deliberate repurposing schedule β then used each month's analytics to refine the next. By month three, the data pointed clearly to process/craft content as the breakthrough format, so the content calendar was rebuilt around it.
Comments and shares β the higher-value signals over passive views β grew 209% and 314% respectively across the engagement. A repurposed video outperformed both its originals by +562 views, +54 likes, and +5 saves, proving the repurposing strategy wasn't a guess β it was a system that worked.
A Le Cordon Bleu-trained luxury bakery needed a digital presence that matched its product quality. The scope quickly expanded beyond the bakery itself to three affiliated bridal and styling brands under the same umbrella β each with a distinct audience, voice, and visual identity that needed to run independently and simultaneously without diluting one another or the parent brand.
Built and managed four parallel content strategies under one roof: The Create Company (aesthetic bakery content and behind-the-scenes process), @thebridalboudoirco (destination bridal styling across Lagos), @thegroomsboudoir (groom styling and couple styling for destination weddings), and @bbstyleco (occasion and event styling). Each brand had its own content pillars, posting cadence, and voice β including culturally specific bridal moments (Igbo, Igala, Ghanaian) and destination wedding storytelling β all developed and executed at the same time.
Running four brand identities simultaneously didn't dilute any of them. The Create Company's cultural moment β the IShowSpeed 21st-birthday-cake series β became its defining content arc at 71.9K views on the lead video. In parallel, @thebridalboudoirco grew to 182.8K TikTok likes. This is the clearest proof point of the ability to hold multiple brand voices distinctly and run them all at a high standard, at once.
Four genuinely different businesses β hair, beddings, electrical retail, and a personal brand β needed to grow simultaneously, each with its own audience and product category. The risk wasn't running out of content ideas. It was letting four brand voices blur into one generic feed.
Built fully independent strategies per brand β separate content calendars, separate Meta Ads targeting, and separate WhatsApp/Instagram/Facebook community management β so each audience experienced a brand that felt built specifically for them, not a shared template.
Frans Hair grew from under 2,000 to 8,259 verified Instagram followers β over 300% growth β while the personal brand reached 5.7K Facebook followers. All four brands stayed active and converting for two consistent years, proving the multi-brand system held up over time, not just a single campaign cycle.
TOMA Legal Tech needed go-to-market strategies for two products β Retrieve, a legal research platform, and Certify, a compliance certification platform β on a shared, limited budget. The real challenge wasn't picking channels. It was identifying the single highest-urgency audience in each market and proving conversion before spreading budget thin across markets, products, and platforms.
Ran competitive analysis across 6 competitors (LawPavilion, JUDY, Legalpedia, ACAMS, and others), segmented audiences by urgency rather than size β final-year law students and sole practitioners for Retrieve, compliance officers facing a 2026 regulatory deadline for Certify β and built phased rollouts that proved conversion in Nigeria before expanding to Ghana and Kenya. Every channel recommendation was tied to a specific audience trigger, not a platform trend.
Delivered two full campaign strategies with budget allocation logic, country-specific messaging, competitor positioning gaps, and measurement frameworks built around one north-star metric per product: paid subscribers and paid enrolments per spend β not views, not followers. Proof that the strategic thinking behind a content calendar works the same whether the product is a fashion brand or a legal research platform.
A health education platform covering sexual and reproductive health needed organic visibility β but ranking content in this niche required more than keywords. It needed technical precision and enough content sensitivity to build genuine authority without losing nuance.
Ran a full keyword gap analysis, restructured the page hierarchy around it, rewrote meta titles and descriptions, and built an internal linking system feeding a 4-week content roadmap β all tracked through Google Search Console and Analytics from day one.
PageSpeed Insights scores hit 98/100 mobile and 100/100 desktop β a near-perfect technical foundation. Google Search Console flagged a milestone: 120 organic clicks in a single 28-day period, with average time on page up 35%, evidence the content itself was earning attention, not just rankings.
